Bittrex Works with Banks to Allow Purchase of Cryptocurrency with Cash

The Seattle, Washington-based cryptocurrency exchange Bittrex has worked out a deal with multiple banks to allow patrons to purchase cryptocurrency with US currency.

According to Bittrex this new deal will allow corporate clients the ability to purchase cryptocurrency with US dollars. Currently Bittrex is working with Signature Bank, and other financial firms.

Bittrex CEO Bill Shihara said in an interview,“It’s been a long path. It’s not just about banks being able to trust Bittrex. It’s about banks being able to trust crypto in general. And I think it’s really showing that crypto is turning the corner in terms of mainstream acceptance.”
