Pundi X (NPXS), the world’s largest decentralized offline cryptocurrency sales network,has teamed up with the American Chamber of Commerce Korea (AMCHAM). The object of the partnership is for AMCHAM to help with promoting Pundi X to its members.

Pundi XPOS operates by allowing cryptocurrency payments and transactions as well as accepting transactions through mobile wallets and bank cards.

Danny Lim, who is the acting CEO of Pundi X, says that S. Korea is a key market for the deployment of cryptocurrencies and that many merchants as well as consumers are showing interest in their system, which allows all manner of merchants the ability to facilitate cryptocurrency transactions.

In regards to the partnership, Lim said Pundi X was confident that, “with the backing of an organisation with as many links to global business as AMCHAM and strategic counsel from our key advisor Jeffrey Jones that this development will be an important milestone, not just for our presence in Korea but globally, too.”

Pundi X is a founding member of XPOS Consortium and Indonesian Blockchain Association. The company is also a member of Singapore Fintech Association, Fintech Association of Hong Kong, ACCESS, and Swiss Finance and Fintech Association.

AMCHAM was founded in 1953 with the goal of encouraging the development of trade and investment between S. Korea and the United States. Amcham says they are the largest foreign chamber in S. Korea with some 700 companies involved in many aspects of the local Korean economy.
